The Application Forms will be sent to you via email by our Enrolments Team on the afternoon of the Open Day. Please look out for our email in your inbox from enrol@wollemi.nsw.edu.au. You will have two weeks to complete and submit your application form before it is reviewed by our Enrolments team.

If you have a son starting school in Infants then please attend a Montgrove College Open Day to learn more about the Infants program they will attend should they be offered an enrolment. We do encourage you to attend the Wollemi College Open Day if you can so that you can see what the future of your son’s education will be like.

From Year 2 to Year 12, Wollemi has two streams per cohort. In Kindergarten and Year 1, there are four streams in total, as these early years are co-educational at our Infants campus: two streams of boys who transition to Wollemi in Year 2, and two streams of girls who continue at Montgrove.

Our cohort sizes are intentionally limited to two streams to preserve the quality and depth of our one-on-one Mentoring System. Every student is paired with a dedicated mentor; a member of staff who meets with the student fortnightly and with their parents each term. This structure allows us to provide truly personalised support, both academically and in character formation.

Year 7 is our most competitive intake year, and places are limited. With only two classes per cohort, we do not add additional streams in High School. Once a year group is full in Primary, further applications are placed on a waitlist.

To give your son the best opportunity to secure a place, we strongly encourage families to consider enrolling from Kindergarten or early Primary. Early enrolment not only increases your chances of a confirmed place for High School but also allows your son to benefit from Wollemi’s formative character education from the beginning of his school journey.

Yes, Wollemi College warmly welcomes families of all faith backgrounds, provided there is a shared alignment with our core values and approach to education. While we are an Independent Catholic school, we do not require students to be Catholic to enrol.

That said, Religious Education is a compulsory part of our curriculum for all students. Faith-based activities such as classroom instruction, school prayer, and weekly or daily Mass are integrated into school life and form an essential part of our identity and mission. Primary students attend Mass weekly, while Secondary students have the option to attend daily Mass or participate in silent reading.

While we welcome students of all faiths, it’s important that you, as parents, are comfortable with your child participating in these aspects of school life, as they are central to the formation and community experience we offer.

Wollemi’s Diverse Learning Department provides assistance to boys across all year levels in a variety of ways that seek to develop boys’ full academic, social and emotional potential. This could include such support as literacy programs, assignment support, smaller group sessions and social emotional support.

The College also provides a quality education for all students, including those who are academically gifted or talented so they may be given the opportunity to be extended and enriched. The Honours Program is an enrichment and extension program primarily designed for students who are already excelling in their normal class work.
